The legendary Aimpoint CompM2 was first introduced in 2000. Since then, nearly 300,000 CompM2 sights have been fielded by U.S. and other Allied Armed Forces across the globe. Designated M68 CCO (Close Combat Optic) by the U.S. Army and Air Force, this incredible sight has served on the front lines of the Global War on Terror since the beginning. It is compatible with all generations of Night Vision Devices and was the benchmark against which all other combat optics were measured at the time of its release. Newer generations of the CompM2 have been developed since then, but in no way , does this detract from the original. The CompM2 is a great value and provides incredible service and features. It is still popular with Law Enforcement Officers, Hunters, and sportsmen for its quality and durability. Utilizing Aimpoint’s CET technology, the CompM2 allows up to 10,000 hours of continuous operation on a single battery (over 1 year).

We have been using the Aimpoint CompM2 since it was released and still have it mounted on some of our carbines. If you are looking for a great sight that stands up to abuse, but need something more affordable, the CompM2 is a serious contender.
