GSCI TWS-3050 Thermal Weapon Scope

Intermediate Range Thermal Weapon Scope

$12,199.00 — $20,199.00

The GSCI TWS-3000 Series is a family of thermal weapon sights designed to offer the operator the greatest performance in the smallest, most rugged package.  GSCI is a Canada-based manufacturer of high-end thermal systems, currently in use by Canadian Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Professionals.  Their quality and performance has caught the eye of the U.S. market and they have quickly gained momentum in the states.  The TWS-3000 Series is based off the legacy TWS-37.  However, it encompasses several variants that offer the user tailor-made options for his/her mission and AO.

Thermal Imagers work by seeing “heat” or infrared energy produced by every object (living or not) on the face of this Earth.  Heat-producing objects, people, or animals produce heat signatures that are visible through the TWS-3050.  This allows Military, Law Enforcement, and Civilians to detect threats/prey through foliage, smoke, fog, rain, etc.  These environmental factors would otherwise hamper detection using standard Image Intensifier Night Vision.  Suspects or animals hiding in foliage will still be somewhat camouflaged to night vision.  But, thermal will detect their heat signatures right through the leaves and branches.  This ability makes the TWS-3050 invaluable in a surveillance or observation application because it will help save lives by detecting concealed threats.  Its use as a hunting tool is incredible because it allows hunters to detect their prey at distance before the stalk.

The TWS-3050 is a 2x mid-range thermal weapon sight.  Featuring GSCI’s incredible 384 x 288 F.P.A. Sensor Format and 60 Hz Refresh Rate (standard package), its performance trumps other thermal units in its class.  Most thermal imagers in this range offer 340 x 280 detectors.  But, the TWS-3000 series increases the resolution, providing the user with a smoother-looking image, and clearer detail from increased shading/gradation.  Believe us when we say that it really makes a difference.  On top of that, the TWS-3000 series are some of the only thermal imaging devices available to the commercial public with a 60 Hz refresh rate.  Frame Rate lag is almost zero during quick panning and tracking of fast-moving objects.

The TWS-3050 has impressive range.  With its 50mm objective lens, it allows for detection of man-sized targets out to about 1,500 yards.  However, identification that it is a human is approx. 600 yards.  The high resolution sensor and OLED display have a lot to do with the reach of this incredible scope.

The TWS-3000 Series is available in either standard 384 x 288 or can be upgraded to an incredible 640 x 480.  So, if you want the best resolution available, you can have it with the TWS-3000 Series.

The 852 x 640 interpolated OLED display provides some of the smoothest, nicest-looking images we have seen in any thermal imager.  Honestly, the first time we turned these scopes on, we had to do a double-take.  Unfortunately, the photos taken through the lens cannot come close to doing these units justice.

The TWS-3000 Series represents some of the best thermal weapon scopes available to the commercial market.  Military performance and rugged construction, coupled with the high-resolution sensor and OLED screen have quickly made the TWS-3000 Series one of our favorites.  Add in the fact that these units cost several thousand less than the government purchase-only devices on the market, and we believe GSCI has created a winner!

Export of Thermal Imaging Equipment or related accessories (such as manuals) is strictly regulated by the US Department of State in accordance with the guidelines of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  It is a major crime to ship or carry US manufactured thermal imaging devices outside the borders of the United States, punishable by fines and prison sentences.  Ignorance of these regulations will not hold up in court.  By purchasing thermal imaging equipment from TNVC, you attest that you will not attempt to export or carry this thermal imaging equipment outside the borders of the United States.  Also, it illegal to allow a non-US Citizen to look through US Thermal Imaging Equipment, even on US soil.  Again, this is a crime punishable by fines and prison sentences.
