TNVC is proud to partner with Jamey Caldwell of 1 Minute Out to release this special edition 1 Minute Out variant of the Wilcox EOTECH Riser and Flip-To-Side (FTS) Mount System in a highly sought-after FDE (Coyote Brown) Anodizing (“Tanodized”). While on Active Duty, Jamey was responsible for assisting the in the development of many Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) capabilities and requirements–and the original Wilcox FTS Riser system was one of those developments.

Originally designed for a USASOC organization for use with the EOTech XPS3-0 and G.23/G.33 Magnifier, the 1MO Wilcox Flip Mount was developed as a mounting solution with the lowest rise possible (.410″) that gave perfect alignment of the XPS and the 3x magnifier that incorporated a solid flip and quick detach system.

The 5/8″ (.625″) riser was developed for ease of use with pro-mask, passive aiming with Night Vision, or users with a taller frame.

The 1MO Wilcox Flip Mount offers instant switch capability between magnified and non-magnified optics when using red dot sights.  Engineered with a stiff force-to-overcome mechanism, the Flip Mount stays put in both “active” and “stowed” positions until the user chooses to engage it.  The mechanism is extremely precise in its tolerance stack with no wobble when placed in position.  A single gross motion is all that is required to activate the Wilcox Flip Mount, securely placing it behind or flipped to the side.  No other flip mount offers this type of stability and simplicity of operation.  The Wilcox Flip Mount comes complete with an interface shoe for the EOTECH G.23/33 Pattern Magnifiers, including the EOTECH G.43 and G.45.

The magnifier interface shoe snaps the assembly directly into the Flip Mount Base.  A spring-loaded bar allows the user to remove the magnifier/shoe assembly from the weapon when it is not needed, for stowage elsewhere or as a hand-held magnifier.  This is one of the more ingenious design features since it allows the Wilcox Flip Mount to give the user the option to completely remove the magnifier or simply flip it to the side depending on the situation.

***While the FTS Riser system was originally designed for the EOTech XPS3-0 family, it may accommodate other optics and mounts that use a single recoil lug mounting pattern, including the EOTECH EXPS-family and LaRue Aimpoint Micro mounts, however, due to the extremely low profile of the .410″ riser system, some mounting footprints may have compatibility issues with the riser mounting lugs–the 5/8″ height variant is required for some optics with wider bases like the Vortex UH-1***
