The Norotos Strap Clip System will adapt the Norotos 3 Hole or Universal Shroud to attach to most helmets in current service that are not drilled for NVG shrouds. The system includes brackets for the MICH or PASGT helmets, but will also work with PRO-TECH shells. The kit includes a nylon strap with ratcheting tension device that will adjust the fit to accommodate all shell sizes. This system is more stable than the standard issue MICH Plate Strap system because it uses three points of attachment.

If your helmet is not drilled by the manufacturer to accept an NVG shrouds, we do not recommend doing it yourself because of the possibility of exposing the layers of Kevlar to the elements which will compromise the structural integrity of the shell. The Norotos Strap Clip System is what we recommend if you are going to be running a Norotos shroud.

Export of Norotos products is controlled by the U.S. Department of Commerce under Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, in accordance with 22 U.S.C. 2778-2780 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). (22 CFR Parts 120-130) regulate Wilcox products.
