FLIR SCION PTM 166 Thermal Monocular

The PTM 166 features the 640 x 480 12um 60 Hz FLIR BOSON microbolometer, 14mm lens, native magnification of .07x with the widest 31 x 24 degree field of view, and 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x digital magnification. The PTM 166 can detect a vehicle at 1340 meters (recognition 340 meters) and a human at 550 meters (recognition 140 meters).  The PTM 166’s 0.7x native magnification provides a very wide FOV which is ideal for use in urban and other settings with shorter detection ranges where the widest FOV excels.

It’s clear thermal imaging leveraging a refined user interface quickly detects objects of interest in complete darkness and through glaring light or haze. Built around FLIR’s powerful Boson core, the Scion OTM 466 produces 60 Hz thermal imaging and records geotagged video and still images for playback long after the day is done. A rugged, IP67-rated housing and intuitive controls allow single-hand operation in harsh weather conditions, maintaining reliable thermal imaging in the most demanding outdoor environments.
