Steiner DBAL-I² 9007 Dual IR Class 1 IR Laser

The DBAL-I² (Dual Beam Aiming Laser – Intelligent) Class 1 IR Laser was the first Mil Spec infrared aiming laser available to the commercial market. The I2 was able in a few different versions with the 9007 being the most popular due to having an IR illuminator and IR pointer. Although these were discontinued by Steiner, TNVC has been able to secure a limited quantity of 9007 NEW production units and with a 2 YEAR WARRANTY from Steiner.

The DBAL-I² Class 1 IR lasers feature a 0.7mW rating which is eye safe and not restricted by the FDA. While this is a lower output than the standard 5mW+ IR lasers used by Warfighters and LE Professionals, it is perfectly adequate for targeting at the ranges in which users will engage targets during night shooting and training. The IR pointer is low powered to make it eye-safe, but will perform well out to 450 yards. The pointer is easy to spot and has a good divergence/shape.

Physically, the housing is black in color, and completely Mil Spec anodized precision machined Aircraft-Grade Aluminum with Steiner’s excellent HT Throw Lever Mount. These housings are extremely rugged, as they were designed for fighting on the front lines of the Global War on Terror. The Mount is a self-adjusting throw lever that is exceptionally strong and requires no tools to adjust for out of spec rails.

It includes a remote pressure switch to operate the unit. Aftermarket dual lead pressure switches such as the TNVC TAPS and Unity Tactical AXON are also available to operate the DBAL-I² and a white light with Surefire remote tail cap (DS00 or UE).
