The Steiner Quick Release HT Mount for the Steiner OTAL-C is one of the best throw lever mounts available. Designed to replace the old Model 17S mount, the HT is precision machined from aerospace grade aluminum and stainless steel with MIL-SPEC Type III hardcoat anodizing. It meets MIL-STD-810G requirements and is lighter than other mounts on the market. The HT Mount self-adjusts to undersized and oversized M1913 rails. This allows for easy installation on all weapon platforms. The spring-loaded cam lever stays open for easy mounting and uses large, thick parts to ensure durability.

The Steiner HT is our new favorite throw lever mount for the OTAL-C. Self-adjusting mounts have either had small, easily broken parts, or have been large and unwieldy. The HT Mount is the first to be both small, lightweight, and incredibly durable. It is designed to return to zero when removed and replaced on the rail.
