The Ops-Core® FAST XP helmet is part of the FAST ballistic protection helmet family. Its innovative, lightweight design resists penetration from 9mm and frag threats at a weight of 2.81lbs (Large). The FAST XP integrates into Ops-Core’s total headborne system solutions, which include situational awareness, optics, and respiratory protection.

The FAST Ballistic High Cut Helmet offers a full compliment of standard accessories and innovative features.

OCC Dial Liner: The legacy OCC Dial Liner was a truly revolutionary concept in helmet stabilization.  The rear-mounted dial allows the user to adjust tension of the fitband around the circumference of the head.  Coupled with the excellent Ops Core Chin Strap, the OCC Dial System provides unparalleled stability when wearing night vision goggles.

The sides of the helmet sport proprietary FAST-ARC 4-position Rail Connectors for securing accessories like lights. These brand new ARC’s act as the hub for an entire suite of modular accessories.

Works in conjunction with locking and rotating adapters that utilize emergency break-away features for airborne operations.
Upper ARC dovetail for devices like low-profile lights, video camera, visor, mandible and up-armor side covers.
Corner ARC buckle receiver for gas and O2 mask strap kit attachments that eliminate the bulk and clutter of traditional bayonet style mounts.
Lower ARC dovetail for devices like flip-out COM headset, battery pack, goggle strap keeper, mandible and up-armor side covers.
Over-the-center side hook attachment for devices like illuminator, strobe light and battery pack.

The FAST Ballistic High Cut Helmet incorporates the MBS (Modular Bungee Shroud) system.  The new Ops-Core Modular Bungee Shroud is standard equipment on the next-generation Ops-Core FAST SF and USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements Family of Tactical Headborne Systems (SPEAR FTHS), and can be attached to any 3-Hole WARCOM pattern helmet. Made of a hybrid lightweight polymer frame and removable/replaceable machined aluminum mounting insert and featuring an integral bungee retention system with carabiner-style bungee attachments, the MBS is one of the most advanced and most secure NVG retention systems currently on the market.

The OPS-Core FAST Ballistic Helmet is one of the most comprehensive helmet platforms available. But, some people are put off by the price tag. This is understandable when you look at the price as a whole. But, if you break down the cost for what you are getting, it is surprising how affordable it really is.

PLEASE NOTE: The Ops Core FAST Ballistic High Cut Helmet is classified as Body Armor and is subject to any and all restrictions concerning civilian ownership of body armor. Body armor cannot be owned or sold to persons convicted of a felony. Body armor cannot be exported outside the United States. Buyers are required to fill out and sign a body armor waiver or show current U.S. Military or Law Enforcement I.D. Residents of Connecticut are prohibited from buying Body Armor (unless the buyer is a police officer, Police Department, or military). We cannot ship to Connecticut, or even accept credit cards billed there for body armor sales.

IF YOU WANT TO GET A FAST BALLISTIC HELMET, YOU MUST PLACE THE ORDER WITH US AND BE PATIENT.  WE RECOMMEND NOT “WAITING UNTIL THEY COME IN BEFORE ORDERING” BECAUSE HELMETS ARE SPOKEN FOR BEFORE WE EVEN GET THEM ON THE SHELF.  ALL OPS CORE DEALERS ARE IN THE SAME POSITION.  WE SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND FRUSTRATION, BUT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT.
