Faster: The reversed angle matches up with the pad of your thumb sooner than the factory button. You will find the gun in your hand just by grabbing it. Weak hand drawing becomes faster as well.

More Reliable: The wider release button means you have even less potential to miss the activation, especially on thigh rigs or mounting systems that push the holster away from your body. If you have ever found yourself pulling up on the gun before hitting the release you’ve noticed that gun is difficult to almost impossible to get out. The additional leverage of the Nub Mod fixes this stress induced or poor training problem if it ever arises due to the increased surface area for the thumb to engage.

Simple Install: Simply press the larger nub piece over the factory button from the inside of the holster.  Align the smaller narrow piece with the top of the larger one. Insert screw and tighten with supplied allen wrench.

Note: January of 2024 Safariland has updated the 63xx RDS and RDSO lever shape. We are working on a new Nub Mod for these.  See below image.

Important Notes:
For 2020, Safariland® is starting to utilize a new lever that is .055” wider and will require sanding down
of the plastic to fit a Nub Mod. We have modified the Level 1 Nub Mods to accommodate this new lever
as well as the thousands of existing original levers for Level I holsters.

Glock:

This aluminum product is blasted and finished with mil-spec anodizing.

Staccato:

This NUB MOD® is designed for the new (for 2020) 6354 ,6390RDS and RDSO Staccato/Prodigy holsters.  The lever is shaped drastically different, so we had to go the glue on NUB MOD® route.  Gives you the benefits of the traditional ALS NUB MOD®.  ONLY WORKS WITH LEVEL 1!

Made from a highly weather and temperature resistant nylon infused with carbon fiber, with high quality temperature stable adhesive from -65 to 250F,  as well as being water stable. Bottom line, this thing is not coming off without some pliers and a lot of effort.

US Military M17/M18 Issued Holsters:

Specifically designed for, and will ONLY work on the new Safariland Holsters with the ‘SG-Mil’ levers, as issued to the U.S. Military for the M17 and M18 Sig Sauer Pistols. Again, this ONLY FITS U.S. Military Issue Holsters! If you have a civilian model holster for the SigP320/M17, buy the ALS NUB MOD!

Fixes the angle and increases the width for a more reliably draw. Chamfer on the inside piece to clear the safety and eliminate the chance of deactivating the safety when you draw straight back on the NUB MOD®.   Blasted for low glare, Mil Spec Anodized aluminum for a tough finish, and of course 100% USA Made.

Designed for Level I use. While we have had users put a washer behind the top T-Nut and continue to utilize the SLS Hood, this is not recommended as it WILL still drag on the hood. Will not interfere if hood is simply left down.
