The Galvion BATLSKIN Mandible Guard provides best-in-class lower-face ballistic protection in a design that’s lightweight, quick to fit without tools and quick to remove while on the run.  Available in various configurations to suit the mission at hand, each type of Galvion Mandible Guard attaches to the BATLSKIN Front Mount, minimizing training while providing rapid attachment and removal of the system.

Designed as a rapid up-armor component, the Mandible Guard requires no tools to install or remove.  It easily attaches the Galvion BATLSKIN Front Mount, providing ballistic and blunt force trauma protection without interfering with communications systems and providing the operator full use of his/her peripheral vision.  The Mandible Guard is a great accessory for exposed turret gunners who are more inclined to take blast frag in the upper body.  It can then be quickly removed when dismounting the vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE: This helmet is Level IIIa Body Armor and is subject to any and all restrictions concerning civilian ownership of body armor. Body armor cannot be owned or sold to persons convicted of a felony. Body armor cannot be exported outside the United States. Buyers are required to fill out and sign a body armor waiver or show current U.S. Military or Law Enforcement I.D. Residents of Connecticut are prohibited from buying Body Armor (unless the buyer is a police officer, Police Department, or military).
