Individually sized and precisely fit for the popular High Cut MICH/ACH (TC2001) style ballistic helmet, the Galvion Viper High Cut Helmet Cover is an excellent accessory. Its tight stretch fit ensures it stays in place during Free Fall and Rotary Wing Operations as well as rugged field use. A shock cord loop on the bottom keeps the cover in place. The Viper High Cut Helmet cover features a hybrid mesh/stretch nylon construction that provides excellent fit and utility to the cover. Loop Pile Tape is strategically placed for attaching accessories such as IFF devices, morale/ID patches, battery packs, and counterweights. The Viper High Cut Helmet Cover comes pre-drilled for a single hole NVG shroud, but can easily be modified for a three-hole shroud. Elastic loops run across the top from back to front for routing cables.
Helmet covers are seeing a resurgence in the special operations community due to their ease of use in changing a helmet’s appearance for various areas of operation. Not only do they offer the operator the ability to heighten his camouflage, but they protect the helmet as well.
