TNVC LensPen
An ubiquitous tool for anyone working with optical devices, the TNVC LensPen features a retractable lens cleaning brush to remove dirt and debris from your lenses while in the field, as well as a soft, concave rounded tip coated in LensPen’s patented carbon cleaning compound that is safe for all lenses and optical coatings. It’s compact size and ergonomic design makes it easy to transport and use in the field for field cleaning of all optics, not just night vision devices, including weapon optics and cameras.

While re-useable cleaning supplies can pick up dirt or particles that could end up damaging your lenses or the coatings used on them. For administrative cleaning of your lenses, we still recommend that you use isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs like Q-tips.

However it’s not always practical to carry a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a bunch of Q-tips out to the field, and sometimes you just need to get your lenses clean or clear off debris so you can, you know, actually see. At night. Like a super hero.

Cat Crap Anti-Fog Lens Paste
Cat Crap Anti-Fog paste is the actual “secret sauce” of Night Vision. If you’ve spent any amount of time using NODs, you know that fogging can be a huge issue, especially in humid environments and when you’re engaged in strenuous activity. The best tubes and optics money can buy don’t mean squat if you can’t see through your lenses.

For years we’ve had friends, students, customers, professional end-users, and many others ask us what we recommend for preventing fogging of their Night Vision Devices, especially when moving between indoors and outdoors and large shifts in temperature and humidity, and when working outdoors in humid environments.

With many of our past and present staff coming from various professional end-user backgrounds over the years, we’ve come to find that there tended to be a common thread among all of us:

We all had one favorite product, and moreover, we’d all arrived at that same product after years of trying various hare-brained schemes and “wonder-solutions” and similar, generic, and competing products to prevent fogging of our NODs and other optics, but we always kept coming back to one product.

That product? The distinctively named: Cat Crap anti-fog paste.

Often when folks ask, and one of us answers “Cat Crap,” people will give us strange, pensive looks, as if they’re trying to figure out whether or not we’re messing with them, or if it’s a genuine answer.

However, it occurred to us that while we had been recommending it for years, it was usually up to the user to go figure out where to get this mysterious and mystical anti-fog product.

Cat Crap is real folks, and you don’t need to go raiding Mr. Kitty’s litter box to get some.

Produced for over 30 years, Cat Crap Anti-Fog and Lens Cleaner paste is a mild cleanser and safe on all lenses and coatings. can be used for lens cleaning and fog prevention on all types of eyewear including sunglasses, prescription eyewear, goggles, scopes, binoculars, camera lenses, safety eyewear, and of course–Night Vision Goggles.

To apply the Cat Crap paste, simply apply a small amount to your lens with your finger or a soft cotton swab and then buff the lens with a clean microfiber cloth (included) until clear. It’s that easy.

TNVC’s Field Cleaning & Anti-Fog Kit comes with one (1) 0.5 oz. container of authentic Cat Crap Anti-Fog paste good for many applications, along with a 6.5″x6.5″ black, Microfiber Cloth with a clear, plastic, reusable case that, allowing you to keep it clean and serviceable for many uses. The Microfiber Cloth has no printing on it to prevent unevenness or scratching from the ink/printing.
