TNVC-built TN/MNVB-M Manticore systems will feature Elbit Systems of America filmed White Phosphor image intensifier tubes providing unmatched clarity and resolution in even the darkest conditions.

 

The TN/APG (Articulating Panoramic Goggle) – Chimera

The Ultralight Articulating Panoramic Night Vision Goggle – Bridge (U.A.P.N.V.G.-B), known as the “Chimera”, represents the next evolution in panoramic night vision goggle systems. It is the first articulating bridge upgrade available for existing quad-tube devices, offering advanced ergonomics and adaptability in a lightweight form factor.

This patented design achieves the lowest possible profile among panoramic systems by allowing the optical pods to stow rearward toward the helmet, creating a profile similar to articulating binoculars. This configuration significantly reduces neck fatigue by moving the system’s center of gravity closer to the user’s natural neck
pivot point, improving balance and comfort during prolonged operations.

The Chimera Bridge allows each panoramic pod to be stowed independently without fully folding the device. This capability provides enhanced mobility and situational flexibility, enabling users to clear doorways, increase head clearance in vehicles, maintain rapid access to night vision capability, move efficiently through confined spaces, minimize snag hazards in brush, and operate weapon-mounted optics or thermal devices simultaneously.

The system is fully plug-and-play at the user level, ensuring straightforward integration with existing panoramic NVG pods. The Chimera Bridge is compatible with L3 GPNVG-18 and ANVIS-10 systems.
