This refurbished PVS-14 is a new offering from TNVC aimed at providing quality US Made Gen 3 night vision at an affordable price to the retail customer. It is based on the U.S. military standard issue AN/PVS-14 Monocular that served on the front lines of the Global War on Terror and continues to serve to this day with Military and Law Enforcement. With their versatility, it’s no wonder that the PVS-14 is the most popular night vision device attracting the attention of the night-time predator hunters, sportsmen, and outdoor enthusiasts. PVS-14’s can be mounted on helmets for hands-free use, behind weapon optics, or simply as a handheld device, and used to take videos and pictures. As a monocular, it gives aid to one of the user’s eyes, leaving the other to retain its natural night-adapted vision.  This is important when changing light conditions and traversing difficult terrain in the field because it allows the user to go back and forth between aided and un-aided vision.

For too long, buyers looking for a more affordable US Made Gen 3 PVS-14 have had to shop in the used night vision market which can carry a level of risk that most are uncomfortable with such as unknown origins, build quality, and lack of warranty. At TNVC, we have received a huge number of requests to offer a more affordable but still high quality US Made Gen 3 PVS-14 option. We listened, have been diligently working on a solution, and are now proud to offer these refurbished PVS-14 systems!!

Brand new US Made Gen 3 image intensifiers are expensive so in order to bring the cost down to a much more affordable price for the average retail customer, this PVS-14 utilizes US Made Gen 3 image intensifiers with slightly used photocathodes that have been re-potted and professionally rebuilt using brand new autogated power supplies in MX-11769 manual gain control format. The photocathodes originate from either L3Harris or Elbit Systems of America image intensifiers. The performance of these tubes is at or near current Mil-Spec minimums and they have very clean cosmetics. The PVS-14 housing and optics are brand new Mil-Spec manufactured by Noctis Industries (formerly Carson Industries). They are rated for 5.56 / 2.23. This PVS-14 is built in-house by TNVC and carry a 2 Year Warranty on the image intensifier, Lifetime Limited Warranty on the housing & optics, and includes the standard 14-day return or exchange if you are not happy with them!

TNVC PVS14-GP Refurbished Lifetime Limited Warranty


TNVC, Inc. warrants all Gen3 Night Vision Devices for Tactical Hunting and Outdoor Use for the lifetime of the product, guaranteeing it to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use. The warranty is transferable by the owner, assuming that the product otherwise still falls within the scope of this warranty. In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, TNVC, Inc. at its discretion, will either repair or replace the product. This shall be the full extent of the company’s liability and the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty carries a 2-year warranty on the Image Intensifier Tube, ensuring they are free from manufacturing defects under normal use from the original date of purchase, and a lifetime warranty on the PVS-14 housing.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Products that were used in other than normal and customary manner.
  • Products that were misused.
  • Products that were altered, modified, or repaired by the customer or a party other than TNVC, Inc.
  • Products that were discontinued by the manufacturer and either parts or replacement units are not available due to reasons beyond the control of TNVC, Inc.
  • Damage, defects, or failures resulting from use that would be construed by any reasonable person as normal and expected “wear and tear.”

TNVC, Inc. shall not be responsible for any defects or damage that in the company’s opinion, resulted from the mishandling, abuse, misuse, improper storage, or improper operation, including use in conjunction with equipment which is electrically or mechanically incompatible with or of inferior quality to the product, as well as failure to maintain the environmental conditions specified by the manufacturer.  This includes using rechargeable batteries, storing the product with batteries installed, or battery compartment corrosion due to faulty battery. Warranty claims falling outside of the scope of these written warranty terms may incur repair, labor, and shipping fees charged to the customer.

Customer is hereby notified that operation of the equipment during daylight or under excessive light conditions may permanently damage the image intensifier tube.  While all TNVC systems are auto-gated, they are not able to withstand exposure to constant light including, but not limited to, light sources, weapon sights, laser radiation.  Auto-gated Image Intensifier Tubes are designed to stand up to nighttime battlefield light conditions, but prolonged exposure to any light source will still cause damage.

No other warranties except for this one apply to this product, including, but not limited to written, oral, statutory, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for particular purpose, shall apply to this product.

 

Export of Night Vision Equipment or related accessories (such as manuals) is strictly regulated by the US Department of State in accordance with the guidelines of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). It is a major crime to ship or carry US manufactured night vision devices outside the borders of the United States, punishable by fines and prison sentences. Ignorance of these regulations will not hold up in court. By purchasing night vision equipment from TNVC, you attest that you will not attempt to export or carry this night vision equipment outside the borders of the United States. Also, it illegal to allow a non-US Citizen to look through US Gen3 Night Vision Devices, even on US soil. Again, this is a crime punishable by fines and prison sentences.

    AMAZING! I Purchased this unit the evening of the 3rd and it was at my door on the 9th! Not only did it arrive quickly but the specs are WAY better than I anticipated! FOM was just over 2100 and the cosmetics are damn near perfect! The housing is perfect and I’m just not sure what else you could ask for!? The morning after my purchase I received an email requesting I call TNVC to verify my order. I promptly called and spoke to a very pleasant woman who informed me that I missed a coupon and she applied it to my total. Good luck finding any other company that would give you money back after the fact! Of course time will tell how well the unit will hold up but I have no reason to believe there will be any issues! Very impressed and I can confidently say they have earned a customer for life. Bottom line is that if you like seeing stuff better than not seeing stuff, TNVC is the way to go!
