The TN/UNB “Raptor”: 

 

The Ultra-Light Night Vision Binocular  (U.N.B.), known as the “Raptor,” builds on the lessons of previous Nocturn Industries models and incorporates direct user feedback. Engineered with a cutting-edge carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite, our injection molded material surpasses traditional polymer solutions and rivals 6061-T6 aluminum in tensile strength.

It features an ergonomic single control knob for both power and gain adjustment. Double-tapping the knob activates the IR illuminator, with an integrated indicator showing its status, and the brightness can be adjusted while the illuminator is active. Through the same knob users can disable or enable auto off when stowed. A low battery indicator alerts users when battery replacement is required.

The Raptor is compatible with standard EGAC MX-11769 and 3-pad MX-11769 image intensifier tubes, as well as PVS-14 optics and accessories. It includes an on-board battery compartment and has an external LEMO 2-pin power port. The Raptor’s image tube pod is interchangeable with U.N.V.M. “Talon”. Low-profile interpupillary distance (IPD) knobs allow easy, tool-free adjustment for rapid setup and user comfort.

The Raptor is fully designed and assembled in the United States, combining lightweight design, rugged durability, and operational versatility for professional night vision applications.
