The Ops-Core FAST RF1, part of the FAST ballistic protective helmet family, is the newest generation of innovative headborne protection. At an average of 3.51 lbs, it is the lightest weight helmet system to offer protection from 7.62x39mm STEEL CORE projectiles, M80, and M193 Ball projectiles, in addition to frag and handgun protection. The FAST RF1 is the same weight as the TBHIIIA Low Cut, and only .25lbs heavier than ACH/MICH, while offering 7.62x39mm Steel Core Projectile protection in a high cut helmet. The FAST RF1 offers a host of features:

• Industry-leading ballistic protection against small arms threats.
• High cut, ballistic shell made of a hybrid composite of the most advanced Carbon, Unidirectional Polyethylene and woven Aramid.
• High cut shell geometry extends critical coverage over the rear occipital lobe without load carrier interference, and optimizes weight distribution for increased stability, integration, balance, and improved comfort.
• Ear cut geometry is 16 mm higher than the FAST XP High Cut shell shape, allowing for clearance of larger headset style communication devices.
• High Cut Skeleton Rails offer lower profile with a 30% weight reduction from FAST MT Super High Cut Rails.
• Features a lightweight Modular Bungee Shroud (MBS) which reduces snag hazards and interference. Integrated carabiner clips improve NVG retention, stability, and reduce interference with rail-mounted accessories.
• Molded liner features proprietary recessed groove, accommodating over-the-head communications headsets with no interference or user discomfort, and ability to doff and don helmet without removing the headset.
• Interior of helmet features expanded polypropylene (EPP) liner, offering enhanced impact protection, and molded-in vent holes provide increased airflow and reduce heat stress.

OCC Dial: The legacy OCC Dial was a truly revolutionary concept in helmet stabilization.  The rear-mounted dial allows the user to adjust tension of the fitband around the circumference of the head.  Coupled with the excellent Ops Core Chin Strap, the OCC Dial System provides unparalleled stability when wearing night vision goggles.

Body armor cannot be owned or sold to persons convicted of a felony. Body armor cannot be exported outside the United States. Buyers are required to fill out and sign a body armor waiver or show current U.S. Military or Law Enforcement I.D. Residents of Connecticut are prohibited from buying Body Armor (unless the buyer is a police officer, Police Department, or military). We cannot ship to Connecticut, or even accept credit cards billed there for body armor sales.
