Designed for universal compatibility with most NVG mounts, Ops-Core Shrouds provide a secure attachment at the front of the helmet for NVGs, video cameras, illuminators, and other components.

The new Ops-Core Modular Bungee Shroud is standard equipment on the next-generation Ops-Core FAST SF and USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Personal Equipment Advanced Requirements Family of Tactical Headborne Systems (SPEAR FTHS), and can be attached to any 3-Hole WARCOM pattern helmet. Made of a hybrid lightweight polymer frame and removable/replaceable machined aluminum mounting insert and featuring an integral bungee retention system with carabiner-style bungee attachments, the MBS is one of the most advanced and most secure NVG retention systems currently on the market.

The MBS can also be used with a separate GSGM Adapter (available in the dropdown menu) that can replace the NVG insert in the MBS chassis to allow direct, semi-permanent mounting of the Wilcox Industries GSGM (Ground Spec Goggle Mount) and DPAM (Dual Powered Aviation Mount) ANVIS-style mounts to the MBS, negating the need for proprietary helmet and shroud interfaces to use these advanced mounting systems for the GPNVG-18 and Fusion Goggle Enhanced, as well as other ball-detent format NVDs.
