The EOG Low Profile Counterweight Short is a short, thin pouch of Cordura Nylon that houses six flexible lead weights that form to any helmet surface.  Each lead weight is approximately 2.6oz for a total of 1.0lb for all six weights. The pouch has a hook/loop closure that allows weights to be added or removed to tailor the weight for the mission. The weights themselves, feel more like plastic than lead, and do not make noise. The size of the Low Profile Counterweight is ideal for attaching along rear bottom edge of the helmet, helping to pull the helmet back and down. The Low Profile Counterweight Short was developed from operator feedback.

Please note: The EOG NVG Counterweight contains lead. So, if you are pregnant or expect to become pregnant, we recommend not using this product. Then again, if you are pregnant or expect to become pregnant, you probably shouldn’t be in combat situations to begin with…

We do not export outside the United States. PERIOD!

Exactly what you see, quality (bendable) weights included. Robust Velcro® outside as well as the pouch. Really a great little piece of kit that does exactly what it’s supposed to.
    Service was FAST.
